Many beach huts on the island have only been open about five year and standards vary quite a bit. Some are open during the dry season (November to May), but this may change as the island becomes popular year-round and boat service becomes more regular. During the raininy season, boats usually only go as far as Ao Sapparot, Dan Mai and than Mayom - the surf farther south along the west coast can be impassable during heavy rains.

From Ao Supparos, it will be a short drive only 20 minutes or about 15 kilometers to Panviman Koh Chang Resort on Klong Prao beach.
